About Me:
Peter Fuentes is a graphic designer turned photographer whose images have appeared on several web sites, most recently on BlueTales, the Jet Blue blog. In November of last year, he launched www.studiofuentes.com to showcase and promote his photography. It is his ability to capture emotion and intangible qualities of his subjects that has made his clients describe his photography as energetic, gritty, edgy and \'Wow!\' His work as a freelancer covering the National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City led to concert coverage and subsequent exposure to the Afro-Punk and Pin-Up subcultures. The artistic lifestyles of these groups have ignited a creative spark, motivating him to develop a neo-retro portfolio inspired by the works of legendary artists such as Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren.
